Student Work
PORTFOLIOS: The students create and update a portfolio describing and reflecting on their best/favorite work, including their final project piece(s). The portfolios are in a shared class google doc folder that the students can access at any time.
Studios and Galleries:
To see the games students created using...
Inform: Have your student show you their game that they uploaded to the class shared google folder. Some students also saved their games on a flash drive to bring home.
Gamestar Mechanic: Have your student log you into their account or go to the Game Alley section of Gamestar Mechanic (free to make an account) and search on users with the prefix CGD_8 for the 8:00am class and CGD_10 for the 10:10am class.
SCRATCH: Go to our Coding & Game Design 2015 studio on SCRATCH.
Arduino & MeggyJr: The students uploaded their code to the shared class google doc folder. To fully appreciate the code, one needs to see it run on a MeggyJr device. Some videos of the games in action will be available soon on the video page of this website.
